Experience tradition and elegance at your Calgary Polo Club wedding. Shotgun Wedding’s newest location for elopements and affordable small weddings will fulfill your desire for an indoor venue that is just outside of Calgary and available year-round. With two packages to choose from, you can have a small two-hour wedding or a more extensive five-hour experience that includes a reception and drinks on top of your ceremony and photos. Food and alcohol are not included in the package prices, but can be added on.
Two Hour Package $4000
- Up to 50 guests
- Includes ceremony location of either outdoor patio (weather dependent) or inside the venue for two hours
- Alberta Marriage Officiant
- One hour of photography (ceremony, group photos and portraits of the couple)
- Event insurance
- AGLC liquor license (if serving alcohol)
- One Shotgun Wedding onsite coordinator for two hours
- Set up and take down/clean up after your event
- Ceremony chair setup
- PA system and microphone with microphone stand (if wanted)
- Bluetooth speaker for ceremony music
- Podium for officiant
- Signing table
- Water station with disposable cups
- Cash bar can be available for two hours, and a champagne toast package can be added at cost

Five Hour Package $5200
- Up to 100 guests
- Includes everything in the Two Hour Package plus:
- Bartender and cash bar for the five hours
- Two Shotgun Wedding onsite coordinators for five hours
- Tables and chairs for the reception
- Tablecloths for head table and guest tables (white or black)
- Water glasses set up on tables along with water jugs and ice

FAQ
The Ranch House at The Polo Club is an AGLC Licensed establishment; therefore, all bookings are required to use certified Ranch House bartenders and bar. Outside alcohol is prohibited. Please note that AGLC regulations do not allow any homemade alcoholic products to be served, and no beverages may leave the premises.

Guests purchase individual drinks with cash.
SUBSIDIZED BAR SERVICES
The host subsidizes a portion of the drink costs. Guests pay a reduced price on drinks, and the hosts pay the remainder of the price of the drinks. (Bar tabs are subject to 18% gratuity)
HOST BAR SERVICES
The client will be invoiced for all of the guests’ drinks. (Bar tabs are subject to 18% gratuity)

The incredible team at Highwood Catering provides all the food for The Ranch House at the Calgary Polo Club. You cannot bring your own food/caterers except for a wedding cake, cupcakes, and/or candy bar.

Your package includes tables and chairs. You must supply any decor, such as centrepieces, flowers, linens, napkins, etc. We recommend Chair Flair for renting everything you need. They are located 20 minutes from the Calgary Polo Club, and you can either pick up and drop them off on your own or have them delivered.
Shotgun Wedding is looking at purchasing items like silk florals for the fireplace mantel, vases, candle holders, etc, to rent out, so if you are interested, please enquire; we may be able to help.
During the high wedding season (May to October), the Calgary Polo Club can only hold Shotgun Weddings from Monday to Thursday.
You can book weekend weddings at the Polo Club from November to April!
