Moraine Lake Elopement

September 22, 2020 , Wedding

You haven’t lived life until you’ve been to Moraine Lake. It’s simply stunning. Your Moraine Lake Elopement can take place Monday-Thursday in June, September or October. The Lake is open from May Long Weekend until the day after Thanksgiving. We don’t do Moraine Lake Elopements on weekends or in July and August due to the swarms of people and the massive parking issues that happen during those dates.

Your elopement here involves a 5-minute hike up to our ceremony spot (NOT good for anyone with mobility issues or people who would have trouble climbing steps up a mountain). Due to the limited space at the ceremony spot, we recommend under 10 people if you choose to have your Shotgun Wedding here. We try to keep it as private as possible, but cannot guarantee that there will be no other tourists around.

Loree Photography will be your photographer for your elopement. With over a decade in the wedding industry and over 500 weddings photographed, you can trust that we will do beautiful work photographing your wedding. Shotgun Wedding and Loree Photography are both the same company!

Your package includes your Alberta marriage commissioner (or we can help you organize the Temporary Marriage Commissioner License and a friend can legally marry you), Loree Photography as your photographer. Approximately 15 minutes of your package will be your ceremony with the remaining 45 minutes for photos of the two of your (and your guests if you wish).

Im interested in the Moraine Lake elopement

Looking for pricing and availability for 2021. Would be 2 witnesses, a commissioner, bride and groom and one child. Also do you have any packages with hair and makeup.

How many guests are able to attend at any location due to covid?

What date or month of the year do you guys recommend for Moraine Lake?
