Ashley and Daniel’s story is one of those “mea Ashley and Daniel’s story is one of those “meant to be” kind of love stories. ⁠ ⁠ Both grew up in the small town of Gibbons, where their younger brothers were friends. They even lived just a block apart, but somehow never really knew each other. Even when life took them to Fort Saskatchewan, they always seemed to end up living within a block or two of one another.⁠ ⁠ In 2021, they finally connected online. Knowing of each other through mutual friends made things feel natural...and from their very first date, they both knew this was it. By their second date, Dan asked Ashley to be his girlfriend, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. In fact, they haven’t spent a night apart since those early days.⁠ ⁠ Together, they’ve built a beautiful blended family. Dan has two amazing kids, and shortly after, Ashley and Dan welcomed little boy into the world. Their engagement in 2024 was the sweetest family moment...at home, with one of the boys pretending to have hurt himself so Ashley would rush downstairs, only to find the kids holding signs that said “Will you marry our Dad?” ⁠ ⁠ Nearly four years later, they’re still each other’s best friend, biggest supporter, and favourite person to laugh with. Odessa and James are the perfect mix of relaxed an Odessa and James are the perfect mix of relaxed and organized—with a big dose of fun! They live in Winnipeg along the Red River with their 4-year-old Shih Tzu mix, Kairyn, and love spending summer days on their bright yellow ski boat.⁠ ⁠ Their story began in June 2021 in Calgary while working on the Grandstand Show for the Calgary Stampede. After long days of rehearsals and late-night dog photo DMs (James swears that’s what won her over), the two became inseparable. ⁠ ⁠ From there, they navigated a year and a half of long distance, traveling the world together...from New York to Melbourne to Riyadh...thanks to James’ work in production and lighting (he’s lit stages for some of your favourite artists, including Odessa’s pick: The Lumineers!).
