Most of the hotels in Banff are amazing. You won’t find AirBnBs in the Town of Banff though….just hotels. Basically, it will come down to what your budget is and if you want something downtown with nightlife, or tucked away in a quieter area.
Mountain hotels do not offer room blocks as they always book up….especially in the high season of summer. Banff hotels also don’t offer discounts. We often are asked if there are discounted hotel rates for Shotgun Wedding clients, but sadly, the answer in no. Again, its because Banff is such a popular tourist area, that they never discount.

Hidden Ridge Resort is a little further from Tunnel Mountain, but in the same area.
Cabins
Who doesn’t love a cabin? You will have to drive about 20-60 minutes from Banff to stay at a cabin, but it’s worth it.
